New Blood x London
In 2015, the BBC commissioned the drama New Blood, a show that set out to put a refreshing, and younger face, on the police procedural genre. I was hired to not only film the shows EPK but also to shoot B-roll for the edit (see Film). The production team were keen to present London, the show’s background, in a new light. One that was still recognisable as London but was less touristry and more gritty and real. A London, a Londoner might recognise. I’ve continued to shoot London in this way ever since.
